Virtual Chat with Dr. Melissa Ford at the DuBois-Robeson People’s Center!

Learn about the century-long struggle for racial, gender, and working-class justice as Dr. Melissa Ford, Scholar of African American History, Black Radicalism, and Women's History, talks about her book, Their Example Will Inspire Us. This collection of five biographies of Black communist women who have “fallen through the cracks” brings to life their radical histories.

Hosted by the DuBois-Robeson People’s Center, a lending library, meeting space, and community center in West Philadelphia, this Virtual Book Talk will be held from noon to 1 pm.
